Yoga for being here

— not getting somewhere

Private sessions and group classes that start with your body as it is, whether you're working with chronic pain, recovering from injury, or simply want to deepen your practice

Katie

I'm Katie, a yoga teacher based in Stockholm. I moved here from California to pursue a PhD in Physics, and yoga became the counterbalance to my analytical life.

I teach Hatha Yoga in the tradition of Kaivalyadhama, one of the oldest yoga institutions in the world. My classes weave together postures, breathwork, and meditation as a progressive practice of turning inward. They're unhurried — there's space to notice what's happening in your body without pressure to perform or push.

I'm especially drawn to pranayama and meditation, and these are always part of what I teach. I work with people of all levels and abilities, including those who may not feel at home in a group class.

Ways to work with me

Private Sessions

One-on-one yoga tailored to your body and where you are right now. Some people come with chroinc pain, an injury, or limited mobility. Others are navigating burnout, a career change, or the feeling that something needs to shift. We start with a longer first session to understand your needs, then build a practice you can carry with you between sessions. Learn more →

Group Classes

Hatha yoga at a calm, comfortable pace. Classic poses, breathing techniques, and meditation. After each pose we take time to rest, so the body can integrate and the mind can settle. Currently teaching a Saturday morning course at YogaDevi. All levels welcome.

For Organizations

Yoga and breathwork workshops for teams: practical tools for managing stress, building focus, and sustaining energy. Designed for workplaces, particularly in tech and high-performance environments, by someone who understands that culture from the inside.
